Dan: Drums - Vocals - Percussion
“…I especially enjoyed Dan Church, playing in umpteen different styles and providing excellent backing vocals as well…”
Beginnings
Dan has been playing the drums since he was 10 years old and later gained a degree in Jazz/Popular music in London in the late 90s.
Big Breaks & Professional Experience
His first big break was playing in indie band ‘Cousteau’, helping them sell 150,000 albums and consequently acquiring a gold disc.
He has played on Gold Disc Recordings and appeared on numerous TV and Radio Shows including ‘Later with Jools Holland’ and MTV as well as Radio 1 and 2.
As an onstage performer prior to joining Milo Max Dan also has 10 years experience on the professional UK Theatre circuit and has played nearly every touring venue from The London Palladium to The Edinburgh Playhouse.
Creative Success
He has also released his own material: in 2004 Dan released his debut album ‘Middle Class White Boy’. The album received international airplay and the title track appeared on the 2005 Midem Compilation album for emerging British artists.
The single ‘Future Memories’ was play-listed on over 30 radio stations across Australia & the USA.
The follow up EP in 2006 was UK radio play-listed and the video ‘Good For You’ appeared on MTV and other music channels.
Dan toured the UK with his band playing major London indie venues including ‘The Garage’, ‘Borderline’ and ‘Carling Academy’.
Why we love Dan!
From early rock and roll to modern pop and rock Dan plays with confidence, showmanship and versatility.
His great lead and backing vocal skills along with being a very affable chap and a fantastic drummer make him a valued member of the band (joined in early 2013).
