Kubota Annual Winter Party

Some companies decide to have their Christmas party in January, it can make sense for several reasons, not least because it’s a more relaxed time and perhaps good to combine with some focusing of minds on the goals for the year ahead.

We were delighted when Kubota choose to book us for their winter party and were looking forward to the laid-back rustic atmosphere of the Notley Tythe Barn in Long Crendon on the Oxfordshire Buckinghamshire county border.

We supplied our acoustic duo for their arrival drinks reception, which helped to cosify the somewhat cold ambient temperature, then kicked off with our 4 piece band line-up after their sit down dinner. The night was chilly, but the guests didn’t hesitate to hit the dance floor, where they stayed thankfully for the duration of our set, and together we created a warm cosy pastoral funk-fest.

Access was a dream for this venue, parking behind the venue and literally a hop, skip and a jump in to the setup space, lovely. This was our first time here but… we would love to come and do some of our wedding band shows here, so easy. The venue manager, Alison, and staff were really approachable and looked after us, and together these factors are always very much appreciated and helps our mindset, and indeed any band, to do the best possible job.

“I organise the staff events / parties for our company and did a web search for bands and was overwhelmed with how much detail is on their website. Reviews, videos, audios..... the works. And believe me they were beyond awesome on the night.

The best band I have come across to date and I'm pretty sure they will be hard to beat. The communication was second to none. Totally 100 % professional in every aspect.”
